On the Beach I: This scene also took place on Toronto Island. The dog is my favorite member of this group.

On the Beach II: Two friends from years gone by, doing what friends do best.

Landscape 1: The view from the Lookoff, at Blomidon, Nova Scotia.

Landscape II: Across the Back Harbour at Chester, Nova Scotia.

Feline 1: As a student in Kingston, my travels to the art studio would take me past the house where this fellow would almost always be seen doing this balancing act.

Feline II: These littermates lived with a friend of a friend. I had never seen anything like this before.

Wooden Boat I: At the Wooden Boat Festival in Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia. The prettiest boat there that year, owned by my former brother-in-law (if he's no longer an in-law, does that mean one of us is now an outlaw?). We sailed into Mahone Bay from Stonehurst. It took quite a while because there wasn't much wind. It doesn't get any more authentic than this.

Wooden Boat II: At the same Festival. The little schooner in the middle ground was one of a number that attended that year.
